Today, in addition to teaching Puppy Kindergarten and training her own Labrador Retrievers, Melinda enjoys the occasional grooming job for her godson's toy poodle and acting as the \"Dog Farrier,\" clipping toenails for dogs belonging to friends and family (roughly 20 dogs). Now you too can clip nails, brush, clip, bathe, and blow dry your dog without having to fight with them (except to keep them off the grooming table).";

A three week class will give you a taste of Utility. This class will introduce the handler and dog to the Utility exercises. The first steps for each exercise will be taught. Handlers need to bring scent articles with them for the first class. The instructor may be contacted ahead of time if you need information on where to get them or what size to have. Because this class is only three weeks it is important that the scent articles be available the first night. I will bring articles suitable for mid size dogs (50 lbs) and small dogs (25 lb) that may be used the first night but dogs requiring other sizes need to borrow or buy the articles for use in class. Handlers also need to bring three white work gloves (cotton preferred), size appropriate to their dog.";
